Chorros de Epina – this site is a fountain consisting of seven wood briar pipes that emanate spring water. According to local legend, its water has healing properties. In previous times, wealthy families from Vallehermoso province would send their servants to Epina to draw water from this fountain, To confirm that the water they received from their servants indeed came from that fountain, they were required to return not just with the water, but also with leaves from the ademo tree (which was reputed to only grow near the fountain).

It was said that whoever drank from that fountain would benefit from either fortune or love. It was also said that anyone who looked at their waters could know if their future would bring luck or misfortune, in case the water remained calm could be expected good news about love, while if the waters were clouded it used to mean a quick misfortune or a lack of love. Another legend says that the first two jets provide health, the two following love and the other two fortune, while the seventh is reserved for witches.
