Iglesia de la Concepción (Calle Gral. Rodríguez y Sánchez Espinosa, 1, 38900 Villa de Valverde) – this is the largest church in the island, which was originally built in 1544, and underwent renovations in the mid-1700s and the early 1800s. In addition, the church clock had repairs doing in 2000. Until 1852, this church’s grounds was also a burial site for prominent locals.
